Whilst at a recent festival (more posts on that later), I got sunburn, being fair-skinned I’ve gotten sunburn plenty of times but never on my lips, until now! I applied plenty of sunscreen to my lips but not until I realised I already had a little sunburn on them (turns out, that was a tad too late).
When deciding what to take with me, it never occurred to me to take any lip sunscreen!
After returning home, my normal lip balm just wasn’t doing it for my lips, so I needed to try something else, then I remembered that I have a aloe vera lipsyl stashed in a drawer at home, I’d heard how good aloe vera is for sunburn so I started using it & my lips feel a lot easier & softer, they also feel a lot more hydrated too.
The one I’m using is Forever Living Aloe Lips.

I wanted to share this with you so you too can benefit from the soothing qualities of this lip product, although, I would highly recommend that you use lip sunscreen for when you’re out in the sun.
